I am sure those of you who have read our blog have found that my talents as a writer are less than great but but I felt the need to share a thought with you. We at Wine Country Cupcakes & Custom Cakes want to share a little of the wonders of the season with those who might not have much joy to look forward to so on Christmas Eve we will be delivering a very special Christmas cake to our local shelter for families who have been displaced due to domestic violence. It seems sometimes with all the rush for sales on black Friday and cyber Monday and filling those last minute orders we tend to lose sight of the fact that there are so many family's who are finding it hard to find joy in the season so we thought that if we send a special something it might help to bring the sparkle back to the eyes of those who really need it. My Mother always told me that you get what you give and so now it is time to give back. So remember when you see someone who might need a hand up or even sharing a smile it can change that persons day and who knows maybe even their life, so share a little of your good fortune and have a wonderful holiday season. |
